Why do you charge by time for fall clean up?
The amount of leaves and debris that accumulate on a property can vary from week to week, making it difficult to set a fixed price for each visit. Different properties have different types of trees—some shed early, others later—which means clean-up needs can change throughout the season. Instead of a flat rate, we charge based on time to ensure fair pricing for everyone. We provide a maximum or “cap” price so you know the most you could be charged during a visit, but actual costs are based on how long the clean-up takes. This approach ensures your property gets the attention it needs when it needs it. We've had great success using this method in past seasons.
What can I expect from a fall clean up?
During Mowing Season: As part of your regular mowing visits, we inspect your property for leaves, sticks, and other debris. If we determine that mowing alone won’t sufficiently manage the leaves, we take additional steps: Leaves are blown out of landscape beds, off hard surfaces, and away from structures onto the lawn. While mowing, we mulch the leaves into fine particles that are barely noticeable. These mulched leaves naturally break down and add nutrients back into the soil. In some cases, they may also be used to lightly mulch around tree bases, benefiting the root zone. Because your fall clean-up is part of a routine service with a capped price, we’ll continue to work within that limit each visit, gradually keeping your property clean and well-maintained. After Mowing Season Ends: We continue offering routine clean-up visits even after mowing stops. These visits focus solely on managing leaves and debris. The final clean-up of the season is where we go the extra mile: Any heavy buildup of leaves will be bagged and removed from the property. Our goal is to leave your property looking as clean and tidy as possible heading into winter.
