As we move into the fall season, we want to share a few important updates about your lawn care service — especially when mowing ends, leaf cleanups and year-end property maintenance.

🍁 Lawn Mowing & Fall Services.

🍃Basic scheduled Lawn Mowing will stop Thanksgiving. If you want us to stop earlier or need us to continue mowing after please contact us.

🍂 Automatic Leaf Cleanup
We’ll automatically perform leaf cleanups during weekly mowing visits in October & November if your property shows leaf coverage.

💵 Since this requires extra time, labor, debris removal and equipment wear, there will be a fall cleanup charge based on how much leaf coverage and amount of extra time outside of mowing time allotted: (Only When Needed):

💵 PRICING: If clean up exceeds the allotted mowing time for your property, Fall Clean up pricing will kick in, it will apply based on the extra time. Our general pricing guide based off mowing rate reflects the maximum or "cap" you may be charged per visit. (pictures above to give idea.)

Light–Medium clean up: Mowing rate x2

Medium-Heavy clean up: Mowing rate x3

✴️ Fall clean-ups will not leave your property completely spotless.
Because these are routine visits and leaves may still be falling during or after our service, our goal is to clean up as much debris as possible without exceeding three times your regular mowing rate. The main focus is to prevent leaf buildup and keep your property maintained throughout the mowing season.

✅ Opt-Out: Don't want leaf cleanup? Just message us to opt out.

🎁 Free Leaf Cleanup with Aeration & Overseeding*

If you received aeration & overseeding, your leaf cleanups during mowing visits in Oct & Nov are FREE — no upcharges.
✴️After mowing season any routine clean up visits will be the same price as your mowing.

🌿 Mulching leaves protects and feeds your lawn — this is our way of supporting your investment.

📆 Sign up — for Aeration and Overseeding *available September through October 20. Scroll to the top of this page, click on "View Catalog" then click on "Aeration & Overseeding"

📆 Mowing/Leaf clean up/ routine Schedule

✅ Leaf cleanup clients that have not opt out:
> You will stay on weekly routine schedule.
> Mowing and leaf clean up as needed.
>As we move into the cleanup season, mowing will begin to slow down. During this time, we will continue to make our routine or weekly visits.

You can expect to be billed at least your regular mowing rate for each visit, even if mowing is not needed and we only perform leaf cleanup. Time spent on cleanup will be tracked, and the minimum charge will be equal to your usual mowing cost.

If additional time is required for extensive cleanup, the maximum charge per visit will not exceed three times your regular mowing rate as represented above in the light, medium, heavy coverage rates.

FAQs

Why do you charge by time for fall clean up?

The amount of leaves and debris that accumulate on a property can vary from week to week, making it difficult to set a fixed price for each visit. Different properties have different types of trees—some shed early, others later—which means clean-up needs can change throughout the season. Instead of a flat rate, we charge based on time to ensure fair pricing for everyone. We provide a maximum or “cap” price so you know the most you could be charged during a visit, but actual costs are based on how long the clean-up takes. This approach ensures your property gets the attention it needs when it needs it. We've had great success using this method in past seasons.

What can I expect from a fall clean up?

During Mowing Season: As part of your regular mowing visits, we inspect your property for leaves, sticks, and other debris. If we determine that mowing alone won’t sufficiently manage the leaves, we take additional steps: Leaves are blown out of landscape beds, off hard surfaces, and away from structures onto the lawn. While mowing, we mulch the leaves into fine particles that are barely noticeable. These mulched leaves naturally break down and add nutrients back into the soil. In some cases, they may also be used to lightly mulch around tree bases, benefiting the root zone. Because your fall clean-up is part of a routine service with a capped price, we’ll continue to work within that limit each visit, gradually keeping your property clean and well-maintained. After Mowing Season Ends: We continue offering routine clean-up visits even after mowing stops. These visits focus solely on managing leaves and debris. The final clean-up of the season is where we go the extra mile: Any heavy buildup of leaves will be bagged and removed from the property. Our goal is to leave your property looking as clean and tidy as possible heading into winter.
