Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our grounds, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscape installation.
Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
Build and maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Dig and prepare areas for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Operate power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
Manage snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to facilities.
Maintain equipment used in grounds maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is beneficial.
Basic knowledge of lawn care practices and plant care techniques is a plus.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
