FAQs

When should I start my sprinkler system in the spring?
Systems are typically started in late March to early April once the ground has thawed and freezing temperatures are unlikely.
When should my sprinkler system be winterized?
We recommend October to early November before the first hard freeze.
Do I need backflow testing every year?
Yes. Most Wichita-area municipalities require annual backflow testing to prevent contamination of the city water supply, and backflow devices must be rebuilt every 5 years.
How often should my sprinkler system be serviced?
We recommend an inspection in the spring, summer and before winterizations to ensure your system runs efficiently.
How long does it take to install a sprinkler system?
Most residential systems can be installed in 1–3 days depending on yard size and system complexity.
Will installing a sprinkler system tear up my yard?
There will be some digging for lines, but we use a vibratory plow to minimize disruption and repair the lawn afterward.
Should I have a rain sensor installed?
We highly recommend having a rain sensor for your irrigation system. Rain sensors shut off the system when rain happens, saving you time and money.
