When is the best time to put down new grass seed?
The best time for cool season grasses is in early fall when the temps start to go down there is less competition from weeds and it lets the yard establish to survive the summer heat the next season. You can absolutely do it in spring as well but the results can be hit or miss depending on the weather.
Weekly or bi weekly what do i need?
To make sure your lawn looks the best weekly is the best and is what i always recommend during the growing season. The main benefit is a healthier lawn because at each mowing we arent cutting as much off a good rule of thumb is you dont want to cut more than 1/3rd of the grass height.
