The People's Landscaper offers lawn maintenance on 7 day, 10 day, 14 day and monthly schedule. Blowing & weed whacking mowed area are included in service.

  • The People's Landscaper is a core aeration specialist. Commercial aerators mechanically removes plugs or "cores" of soil and thatch from a lawn. Core aeration reduces soil compaction, creating a channel through which oxygen, water, and nutrients can penetrate the soil. There are other ways to aerate a lawn. Some lawn aerators drive solid tines into the earth. but that method isn't considered as effective as core aeration, in which you're creating holes of a significant diameter: 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch
  • Dethatching is the mechanical removal from a lawn of the layer of dead turfgrass tissue known as "thatch." This residue is bad for your grass, as it keeps water and nutrients from seeping down to grassroots. The People's Landscaper uses commercial dethatching equipment that will contribute to the long-term health of your grass.
  • Overseeding is the planting of grass seed directly into existing turf, without tearing up the turf, or the soil. It’s an easy way to fill in bare spots, improve the density of turf, establish improved grass varieties and enhance your lawn’s color. If a lawn looks old, or just “worn out,” if it needs growing amounts of water and fertilizer to thrive, or is disease or insect prone, it’s a perfect candidate for overseeding.
  • It’s Not Just Planting That Takes Time. Gardening entails much more than planting. There’s choosing the right fertilizer, plants and tools, plus the actual logistics of your garden, such as sunlight vs. shade. Even if you love spending time in the garden, you are investing hours in stores and online just to get to the point of planting.
