FAQs

What is your Mowing Schedule?
Summer:
May 1st - October 31st Approximately (4) Cuts monthly
Winter:
November 1st - April 30th Approximately (1-2) Cut(s) monthly
Why do you mow when my lawn is wet?
As a professional lawn care service, our priority is to keep your lawn well-maintained and on schedule. To achieve this, we use our best judgment when deciding whether to delay a mow. During the growing season, it’s often better for us to mow your lawn while it's still wet rather than skip a visit and risk letting the grass grow too long. While mowing wet grass can occasionally create temporary ruts, these typically resolve on their own as the lawn dries out. However Please know we do our absolute best to avoid leaving any ruts by trimming areas that identify as to wet.

If you feel that your lawn is too wet for mowing on your scheduled day, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we will gladly pause or reschedule the service. We always strive to make the best decisions for our clients, but due to the subjective nature of weather and lawn conditions, it can be challenging to meet every client’s preference perfectly every time.
How do you determine mowing heights?
The height at which we cut your lawn is determined by several factors, most notably the time of year. In the spring, we mow the grass lower, and as the weather warms, we raise the cutting height to help the grass handle the heat. During the hot summer months, we mow at a higher setting to keep the lawn thick and lush. As fall approaches and temperatures cool, we gradually lower the cutting height each week. If you'd prefer a higher or lower cut at any point, feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. For bi-weekly mowing, it may be more challenging to adjust the height during certain seasons.
How are customers expected to pay?
As outlined in our service agreement, we bill customer accounts right after each service is completed. We accept all major credit and debit cards and require a card on file for service. However, in special cases, we also allow payments via cash or the popular payment service "Cash App." This flexibility helps us maintain the best service at the most competitive prices.
Why does my fence look dirty?
It's common for fences to get dirty during mowing services, as many aren't designed with lawn care in mind. For vinyl fences, moisture and wind can cause dust and dirt to accumulate over time. To reduce this, we make an effort to direct our mowers away from the fence when possible, close mower chutes, and blow off the fence after each service. Additionally, if there's no gap at the bottom of the fence, marks or minor damage may occur over time from contact with the trimmer.

If you have concerns or want advice on how to prevent potential wear or damage to your fence, please contact our office, and we'll arrange for someone to assess the situation.
Mowing days are determined by our route efficiency planner to ensure timely and organized service. As we add new customers, whether for one-time cuts or regular seasonal service, your mowing day may occasionally vary. Weather conditions also play a role in this, however for customers who approve mowing in the rain, we can almost guarantee you will receive service each week, barring severe weather conditions. Please note that we do not mow during lightning storms for safety reasons.
How often do you change your blades?
"We’ve been using John Deere Self-Sharpening blades for the past two years and inspect them daily. These blades have completely revolutionized our operations, lasting an entire year with minimal servicing. This innovation has significantly cut down on maintenance costs, allowing us to maintain highly competitive rates. Prior to this we sharpened blades daily."
Do you Provide Service on weekends?
We do not schedule mowing on Saturdays or Sundays as part of our regular routine. However, we reserve Saturday as a make-up day for weather-related delays or, in rare cases, other unexpected interruptions. While we prioritize our standard schedule, we’re happy to accommodate customer requests whenever possible, depending on the situation.
What if there is property Damage?
If there is any property damaged by our crew, please contact us immediately, within 7 days, so we can make a timely professional repair at our expense. **We will not honor any request for repair expenses for damaged property that we were not made aware of and allowed to rectify beforehand. ** If we are unable to repair the problem professionally, we will make arrangements to hire someone who is qualified.
We do not accept responsibility for objects left lying around the yard such as cords, small figurines, toys, etc. please keep these things cleaned up or removed from the yard.
What happens if you are delayed?
Rain is the most common cause of mowing delays. When conditions are safe, we do our best to work through light to moderate rain, considering upcoming forecasts. If delays occur, we prioritize getting back on track as quickly as possible. Rest assured, we never skip properties or leave jobs incomplete due to weather. Typically, if heavy rain prevents mowing on your scheduled day, we aim to complete the job the following day, weather permitting. Additionally, rain earlier in the week may shift your mowing day by one day as we adjust to stay on schedule.
Pets?
We appreciate your letting us know if you have any pets that are kept outside so that the crews will be aware of them. Our crews will make every effort not to let your pet through the gate, but we cannot guarantee your pet will not escape from your yard. Please leave your pet inside on your scheduled service days. Please pick up all pet droppings, toys, large bones, large rocks, etc. the day before we mow. If hit by a lawn mower, objects like these in your yard are hazardous to our workers and others. Serious damage can occur to your property, our equipment, or our crews.
Yard Access?
Your gate must remain unlocked. If you prefer not to unlock or leave your gate unlocked, we recommend that you use combo locks and that you provide us with the password or combination. Sorry, but we are unable to send our crews back or issue any credit for not mowing inside a locked fenced area.
Christmas or Halloween Decorations?
We will not mow if there are Christmas or Halloween decorations throughout the yard. Any property we do service with this is at our discretion to avoid liability. We ask that you notify us when you wish to decorate the landscape, and we will mow just prior to your doing so.
