I began a lawn care business in Virginia in 2000 & in 2010 chose another path & started a company selling medical equipment. Almost 21 years later in North Carolina, I was thrust back into what I believe has always been my passion, & that is to have a beautiful, lush weed free lawn.
I started my current business concept in 2020 when I became frustrated with the uncontrollable weed species in my lawn & trying to finding someone to effectively treat my lawn & rid it of the invasive noxious species of weeds. I eventually realized relying on others was a lost cause & rather than resentment chose a different path . I began to absorb large amounts of material, data & literature to understand the diverse and convoluted processes of treating, caring for and maintaining a lawn in eastern North Carolina. After immersing myself into the world of herbicides, pesticides, weeds, disease, species of weeds, modes of action and the prevention of weed resistant populations, dethatching , core vs spike & liquid aeration, & fertilizers , I began treating a few lawns around me that were all but lost to weeds. Once I understood the weed species in eastern North Carolina, modes of action & effective versus ineffective treatments, along with all the other variables , I literary knew after two years of study, trial and error that a beautiful weed free & healthy lawn was achievable if the correct processes were put into place. I decided to study & test for the state license so I could begin to provide my service to the community. I wanted others around me to know & experience that a healthy and beautiful lawn was achievable. I am currently licensed in the state of North Carolina as a commercial pesticides applicator.
My mission remains the same as it did when we I started this venture. Admittedly a bit out of frustration at first, however I have turned that into a successful approach under a maintenance program for everyone to have a beautiful, weed free, lush, green lawn that they can be proud of and enjoy.
GreensKeeper LLC, was established in 2023; I offer high-quality year-round services for private homes, estates, commercial properties, and public lands. I pride myself on being at the pinnacle of the industry by providing the absolute best service available in the area. I will always be accessible to my customers and will be open to and maintain a consistent line of communication. My strong attention to detail and relentless work ethic will be devoted to assure your lawn is as perfect as if it were my very own.
