Mark Hamill Lawn Treatments
I have always loved working outside. My family from great granddads to uncles and cousins have farmed. At age five I pulled the cart with a Farmall tractor in the tobacco fields. At the age of 15 we moved to Hyde County where I commercial fished with my dad in the summer. When we moved back to Pitt County, I worked at Grady White Boats while I went to Pitt Community College for computer programming. After being placed at Burroughs Wellcome I realized I can not work inside. In 1992 I quit and used my savings to start my own lawn service business which included mowing and landscaping. I started spraying my lawn mowing contracts for free so that I could test what worked. Also sectioned off about about 20 acres on my farm to test which my wife was less than thrilled over (She doesn't complain now). By 2008 when the economy crashed I had to let my remaining 10 employees go which was a very difficult decision to make. The only calls that I received during this time were for lawn treatments. This is when I realized I needed to focus primarily on weed and insect control. Now let my family and I enhance the asthetics of your lawn.
