Curtis Lawn Care
Brandon Curtis, owner of Curtis Lawn Care LLC, established his company in 2020. Although a new company, Brandon has a long history of taking care of lawns dating back to his childhood. Brandon's father put a manual reel mower in his hands at a young age and he began servicing his neighbors lawns for some cash in his pocket. "But it was never about the money," says Brandon. He quickly took to making his work as nice as possible, and his neighbors noticed. Brandon was meticulous about cutting grass, and always made sure to make the neatest, straightest stripes he could.
After his parents moved to a one acre lot in southern Montgomery County, Md. Brandon continued his work on their lawn. The long spacious front yard that could be seen from the main road was always like a canvas on display for everyone driving by. "It was like art to me!" Brandon's father also had the background to teach him about all these lawn care including gardening and plant life. "He involved me in everything he did and ended up teaching me a lot about taking care of our yard. It's always stayed with me and now has turned into my passion."
Brandon bought a house in Columbia with his wife in 2015 and noticed the huge potential with dense sub division housing. Although he had been in the medical field for 13 years, he still had an itch to be outdoors and decided to take the leap he had always dreamed of. "I just wanted more for myself and my family." Now Brandon hopes to build his company off of that meticulous artful mindset in making his community look the best he can.
