Hi! My name is Chad Gilpin and I'm the proud owner and operator of Freshly Cut Lawn Care Services LLC.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit. At 10, I began cutting grass in my neighborhood. I can remember the smell of the freshly cut lawn and the feeling I had when I completed the job, completely satisfied!
In my late teens, I started Yard Pros. Yard Pros was a lawn maintenance business providing general lawn maintenance to residential customers. My favorite part about turning an early childhood hobby into a thriving business was seeing my customers relax more and worry less about lawn care. I later sold the business to a fellow lawn care company.
After I sold the business, I attended Valdosta State University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations. The best thing about attending college was meeting my wife, Dawn. Dawn is my rock, best friend, wife, and an amazing role model for our two amazingly talented daughters, Madison and Kaitlyn.
Following college, I spent the next few years working my way up the corporate ladder, where I learned about sales, marketing, operations, management, and, most importantly, how to deliver “wow” customer experiences.
Upon completing a respectful corporate career, I made the decision to start Freshly Cut Lawn Care Services LLC. The purpose of Freshly Cut Lawn Care Services LLC is to bring professionalism back to a service industry known for poor service and performance.
