Aqua Envy
From an early age both Cody and David loved being outside and active, this is where their friendship began. As both young men were growing up they discovered they had a talent for creating and working with their hands, they had developed a passion for working hard and working in the outdoors. These factors set them apart and allowed them to quickly excel in the landscape industry. As boys the two worked together at a garden center and nursery, this is what really sparked Cody’s interest in landscaping. While in college, Cody studied landscape architecture and found a job in the summer working for a pond contractor. He instantly fell in love with pond building. Cody had always loved spending his days outside with the sun on his skin, but his passion for pond building came from the joy and smiles he brought to families and homeowners faces when they had seen his hard work and creativity come to life. Cody continued to gain more and more knowledge and experience of building ponds during the summers while in college. After a few years Cody then introduced David to the art of pond and water feature design and installation. David started learning fast and also fell in love with building ponds, finding that it is a shared passion between him and Cody. After college the pair worked several different landscaping jobs doing lawn maintenance, mulch installation, and snow removal. However, their true passion lies in designing beautiful backyard landscapes. Cody and David had a vision for a full service pond, waterfall and fountainscape company in the Chicagoland area. They set out to make their dream a reality by starting Aqua Envy with long time friend and marketing student Mike Snyder. Cody and David introduced Mike into the pond community and landscaping industry where he also fell in love with the hard work and creativity it takes to make beautiful landscapes. The three created a team that is set on bringing a new look into the landscaping market.

Each year our team continues to stay up to date with new products and enrolls in pond education courses to stay on the cutting edge of procedures and building techniques.
