Tamaska Turf & Landscape
In 2007 I pursued a college education in the landscape industry. While in college, I worked with the Cincinnati Reds maintaining their field at Great American Ballpark. Once I graduated from Cincinnati State with two degrees; Landscape Horticulture and Turfgrass Management, I was hired by the Philadelphia Phillies as Head Groundskeeper of their spring training facility in Clearwater, Florida. During my time there, I received several awards and certifications including: 2010 National Groundskeeper of the year in Rookie Baseball, 2010 Head Groundskeeper of the year Gulf Coast league and Sports Turf Managers Association certification of Certified Sports Field Manager (CSFM); only 1 of 230 in the world with this certification. I spent 8 years in that position with the Phillies before returning home to Ohio when I then started Tamaska Turf and Landscape!
