Cutting for the Cure
Our mission is to progress the research, education and awareness of ovarian cancer by donating a portion of our total annual revenue to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer. The Foundation for Women’s Cancer is a 501
(c) (3) not for profit organization dedicated to funding research for all gynecological cancers, as well as helping women with prevention, early-detection and optimal treatment. The Cutting for the Cure mission was started in honor of one of our founders, Gisela Moring. Gisela was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer on March 15, 2012. Since her diagnosis, Gisela has been able to fight and beat cancer through her courage and strength as well as the advances in research made possible by organizations such as the Foundation for Women’s Cancer. People like you and I fund these organizations through donations and other fundraisers. We are thankful for those who have given and helped us in our fight, which is why we know and value the importance of giving. Gisela’s cancer may be gone but our fight is far from over. We are not doctors or scientists. We are arborists and our skill set allows us to fight in a different way. The more grass our professionals cut, the more trees we trim, the more we are able to donate. Let us beautify your landscape because a portion of the revenue generated from each and every one of our jobs will be used to fund research for all gynecological cancers.
