Some saguaro cactus I potted up today, at a client's property. Some of those trunks are as big as my leg. And then, there are some squash and cucumber starts that were upgraded to bigger pots. As well as a smooth chayote vine we're starting out, in the middle.

Part of the 120 fruit trees and 9 garden boxes currently managed on this 11-acre, Fremont hills estate. Interspersed here are wildflowers, including California poppies, and cilantro for use in the home kitchen. In just this area are multiple varieties of apricot, pluot, Pakistani mulberry, loquat, orange, lemon, kumquat, grapefruit and jujube.

One of several arboreal salamanders, as well as a group of ferns, saved and relocated during a recent cleanup of a backyard waterfall.

Here are two trees I relocated for a client last weekend. A six foot tall kafir lime and a twelve foot tall curling willow. I pulled them both up in clean almost two foot wide root balls, and carried them to their new destinations in pots before replanting them. Above to the left are where they both came from, both already back filled with the dirt from where they were moved. You can see that they were causing problems with crowding, and would encroach on pipes and foundation as they grew. They both seem happy in their new homes.
